The product page and the order summary identify the software, its features, system requirements, price, and license limits. Please check compatibility before purchasing. today-md requires a Mac with macOS 14 or later.

Ordering, payment, and delivery

You can review and remove items in your cart before continuing to Stripe Checkout. Advertised prices include applicable VAT. Checkout shows the accepted payment methods, currency, tax treatment, and final total including applicable taxes before you pay. There are no shipping charges for electronic delivery.

The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed and we issue the order confirmation. License keys are supplied electronically after successful payment, by email and through My tools. Sign in with the email address used for your purchase. Contact us if your confirmation or download is missing.

Each purchase is a one-time payment. It creates no subscription, recurring charge, or automatic renewal. The contract language is English. You can save or print these terms; your order confirmation contains the terms applicable to your purchase.

Your today-md license

A website purchase unlocks the direct-download edition of today-md Pro for personal or business use on up to three Macs that you own or control. Download that edition from My tools and enter the license key supplied with your purchase. Keep the key private. Activation stores a signed license containing your purchase email address in the app. The currently published Mac App Store edition uses its own in-app Pro purchase.

The direct download requires an internet connection for its initial license activation. It sends the license key and a hash derived from the Mac hardware identifier to our activation service. About once a week, when it can reach that service, it repeats this check to confirm the license is still valid; if the service cannot be reached, the app keeps working. Otherwise license verification takes place locally. Internet access is also needed for purchases, account access, and downloading software.

The license for the version you purchased has no scheduled expiry. It does not promise compatibility with every future macOS version or continued operation of third-party services. A fully refunded, disputed, or otherwise revoked purchase cancels its license and access to further activations and downloads, and the direct download removes Pro from your Macs at its next weekly check. You must stop using a cancelled license.

Updates and your files

The website purchase includes every direct-download update we publish for today-md, at no extra cost and with no end date. There are no paid upgrades for the direct-download edition.

This update offer does not limit statutory rights to updates, including security updates, needed to keep digital content in conformity for the period required by applicable law. Contact us about a defect or a required update.

You keep ownership and control of your tasks, notes, and other content. today-md stores that content on your Mac, with optional folder sync through a provider you choose. Keep suitable backups. We do not operate a task-storage or backup service.

Withdrawal, defects, and support

Consumers have the statutory withdrawal rights explained in the withdrawal notice below. Downloading or activating the software alone does not waive those rights. Use toolstokeep.com/withdraw, email us, or send an unambiguous written declaration to exercise a withdrawal right.

Your statutory rights concerning defective digital content remain unaffected. Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, these include correction of a defect, a price reduction, termination, and damages. The license and update terms do not exclude these rights. App Store, open source, and applicable law

Purchases made through Apple are governed by the applicable Apple purchase and license terms. Apple handles payments, purchase restoration, and refund requests for those purchases. Website payment terms do not replace Apple’s terms.

Rights granted under the MIT License or another applicable open-source license remain in place for the source code and copies covered by that license. These purchase terms do not narrow those rights. Copyright notices and third-party license conditions continue to apply.

German law applies, subject to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of habitual residence. These terms do not restrict the courts or remedies available to consumers under applicable law. The terms agreed at purchase apply to that purchase; later website changes do not retrospectively alter your contract.
